Who Are We?

Welcome to The Edge of Nature, an online store that specializes in creating unique pieces of art from beautiful pieces of timber. Our business is the brainchild of Ed and Barb Ramsay, who bring a lifetime of artistry and woodworking skills to draw from.

We are based in Franklin, Tasmania, and all our products are created in our studio at home. We take pride in creating one-of-a-kind pieces of art that are inspired by the nature that surrounds us. Our aim is to enhance the natural beauty of the timber we work with, and we put our hearts and souls into every piece we create.

At The Edge of Nature, we cut every piece from the log here at home and pass it through only the hands of a Ramsay until it reaches our customers. This ensures that every piece we create is of the highest quality and crafted with love and attention to detail.

In addition to our online store, we also have a home gallery that is open to visitors who wish to purchase our unique pieces. We love welcoming people into our home and sharing our passion for creating beautiful and functional art.
